Midwest Employment Group & Advisors ("MEGA," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use this site (midwestega.com), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

When you submit a form on this site (contact form or get-started intake form), we collect the information you provide. That typically includes:

• Name, company name, email address, phone number
• Role you're hiring for or seeking, type of staffing need, availability, experience level
• Preferred contact method and any message text you choose to send
• Timestamp of submission

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our hosting provider (Netlify) may automatically log standard request data, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL. This helps us understand site traffic and diagnose issues. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries strictly to remember preferences (such as whether you've dismissed our cookie banner) and to keep the site functioning. We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for the purposes you'd expect:

• Responding to your inquiry. A real MEGA recruiter follows up by phone or email within one business day of any form submission.
• Matching candidates to opportunities. If you're a job seeker, we use the information to identify relevant openings and present you to employers (with your knowledge).
• Workforce consulting. If you're an employer, we use it to understand your hiring needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Internal record-keeping. We retain submission records for our own follow-up and quality control.

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services help operate this site. Each has its own privacy practices:

• Netlify — hosts the site and processes form submissions. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Google Maps — embedded map on the Contact page. See Google's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — serves typography. See Google's privacy policy.
• Crelate — our applicant tracking system, used when you apply through our job board. See Crelate's privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain form submissions and contact records for as long as it takes to respond to your inquiry and reasonably follow up afterward, typically up to 24 months. If you'd like your records deleted sooner, contact us at the address below.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information from our records
• Withdraw consent for ongoing communications

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We treat all visitors consistently with CCPA-level protections regardless of state.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit via HTTPS and limiting access to authorized personnel. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

7. Children's Privacy

This site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted.
